Our company is looking for a Network Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolution of various network related trouble tickets;
  • Collaborate with multiple technology disciplines and service towers including server computing, storage, database, cloud, and application developers;
  • Monitor 600+ network interfaces and 11,000 total monitored devices, domestic and international via a network performance monitoring solution;
  • Operational upgrades, troubleshooting, network monitoring, network analysis, and process improvement;
  • Take ownership of incidents and problems managing the relationship with those stakeholders;
  • Review use of the current Storage solution, working with the team to refresh the storage accordingly;
  • Working with teams to implement a new warehouse management system (Invar);
  • Working with teams to review the current Active Directory installation with a view to migrating users and equipment to the new domain;
  • Utilizes change management and ticketing systems, documents status updates and problem resolutions;
  • Follows documented processes, procedures and policies;
  • Complete all assignments and project work in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality;
  • Performs maintenance and changes on Routers, Switches and wireless equipment, as required;
  • Performs Implementation/Configuration of new routers, switches and wireless devices, as required;
  • Other related duties assigned as needed;
  • Performs customer service duties and responds to customer and project requests as defined by management.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge with ENTERPRISE LAN/WAN and VPN;
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst;
  • High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years experience administering Cisco Routers and Switches;
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years experience administering Cisco Routers and Switches OR;
  • Associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years experience administering Cisco Routers and Switches OR;
  • Experience with supporting an enterprise network at a Utility company;
  • Cisco Wireless experience;
  • Network related industry certifications a plus;
  • Understanding of network protocols –EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, QOS, STP, DHCP, SNMP, TCP, UDP;
  • Ticket Management System experience (preferably GTMS or ITSM);
  • Cisco Nexus platform experience;
  • Experience briefing Senior Leaders;
  • DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ce;
  • Must have experience with network break/fix of layer 2 and 3 environments;
  • Brocade and Juniper experience.
