Our company is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival;
  • Maintaining reception area, break room, printing centers, and conference rooms;
  • Obtain insurance information from patients and verify benefits prior to their appointment;
  • Check office voicemail, return calls and forward to other team members as necessary;
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary;
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries;
  • Adept at analyzing facts, problem-solving, and making decisions;
  • Sorting and sending mail;
  • Schedules appointments in Psych Consult for individual, groups, family, etc;
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when making decisions;
  • Greets all residents and guests in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner;
  • Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly;
  • Assist in frame selection and lens choice; submit glasses/contact lens orders;
  • Answer phones in a timely manor;
  • Be the hands-on assistant for the professional.

Requirements:

  • Skilled communicator; detail-oriented;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor;
  • Good time management skills;
  • High school diploma or relevant qualification;
  • able to work in both English AND Mandarin (fluency in Cantonese a plus);
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping;
  • Prior usage of EHR system a plus;
  • Understand the value of working with a group of teammates;
  • 2+ years’ experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role;
  • Enjoy working on the computer and scheduling systems;
  • Punctual with strong attendance history;
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • Able to type 35 wpm minimum;
  • Must be punctual;
  • Must have a team mentality, flexibility and willingness to learn.
