Payroll Accounting Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Payroll Accounting Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date policies and procedures;
- Support accounting interface, cash reconciliation, funding report, and reconcile clearing account;
- Analyze General Ledger Accounts regularly;
- Monitor all aspects of the payroll process in order to manage and identify differences;
- Conduct payroll analysis for the client and all affiliated payrolls;
- Complete ad-hoc responsibilities as determined by the Payroll Director and Compensation Controller;
- Assist in year-end and state audit deliverables;
- Develop and formulate reports for Finance, Accounting and other internal and external groups;
- Track and process Accounts Receivable balances.
Requirements:
- Use effective communication and leadership skills to promote positive group operations and relationships;
- Must take initiative, is detail oriented and is a highly organized and positive team playereedics1;
- Ability to multi-task in order to meet assigned deadlines;
- ADP Workforce Now, ADP Reporting, and Workday experience a plus;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform payroll accounting analysis;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with one to two years related experience;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality with the utmost integrity is required;
- Advanced Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and Access. Hyperion experience is a plus.
