Our company is looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to match each available technician to a job based on that technician’s skill level and location;
  • Organizing service calls so that technicians are sent to a variety of locations in a timely manner;
  • Assist with the calculation of technical work time to be used for payroll by upper management;
  • Accurate entry of service calls into dispatching system (ESC);
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Keep on-call calendar up-to-date for weekly distribution;
  • Receive customer service calls;
  • Assist with certified payroll reports;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Accurately update dispatch data as jobs progress and are completed;
  • Responsible for providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers;
  • Ultimately responsible to keep customer information in database updated with current customer information;
  • Assist with end of day reports to upper management.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of customer service principles;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products;
  • Knowledge of basic business principles;
  • Good sense and sound judgment in practical matters;
  • Strategic planning skills;
  • Extremely organized and highly motivated;
  • Must be able to serve as a liaison between customers and technicians;
  • Must be able to make judgment calls regarding the best plan of action for a particular job;
  • Maintain the work schedules for field technicians and assure that all customer commitments are met;
  • Experience in, or quick learner of company’s dispatching software (ESC);
  • Strong Computer and Analytical Skills;
  • Previous Experience in Dispatch;
  • Must have at least 2 years commercial service dispatcher experience.
