Electrical Mechanical Assembler Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, perform and check work in an effective and efficient manner;
- Process components, assemblies, modules and products which are manufactured in or acquired from other production departments or suppliers;
- Maintain work area and supplies;
- Other duties and projects as assigned;
- Perform assembly and acceptance testing at customer site;
- Update prints and schematics according to change process procedures;
- Participate in training and support of new employees;
- Accurate time and material booking;
- Actively introduce and implement suggestions for improvements;
- Coordination and collaboration with Engineering and Service departments;
- Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic subassemblies or final products;
- Participate in start-up, commissioning and acceptance testing activities in-house;
- Perform incoming inspection.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform shop math;
- Experience with automated test, measurement and control equipment a plus;
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and fluid schematics;
- Skillful in troubleshooting fluid, electrical and electro-mechanical systems;
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (est. 10%);
- Mechanically inclined;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Good with hand tools;
- Previous assembly experience;
- Attention to detail;
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
