Our company is looking for a Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax issues including income tax compliance and related research;
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment;
  • Help the senior team to bring new products to market;
  • Provide advice to clients, in a variety of industries, on import and export matters;
  • drafting briefs to submission;
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagement by supporting management;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget;
  • Responsible for sharing and uploading documents and communication on GC’s web based project management site;
  • Lead the build, test, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions using industry leading vendor technologies;
  • Assist in the development of sales and marketing campaigns;
  • Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm;
  • drafting of memos and appeals, etc;
  • Assume project management responsibility throughout the real estate development process;
  • Support the implementation of asset management strategies for owned properties;
  • settlement analysis.

Requirements:

  • Career management, one-on-one coaching, and specialized skills training to achieve success beyond the Associate role;
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment;
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college/university (or bachelor’s degree with requisite hours to pursue CPA certification) or JD/LLM;
  • A Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, and/or Biostatistics;
  • Working closely with experienced Managers and Principals in creating custom solutions for unique business problems;
  • Collaborating with the onshore and offshore teams in delivering against set project plan and timeline;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Preference given to advanced degrees to include PhD., MD, MBA, etc;
  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific and/or financial fields;
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills;
  • Self-starter with “can do” attitude;
  • Experience in maintaining a record of billable hours, 1800 to 2000 per year expected;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;
  • Assist in the construction of financial models, including discounted cash flow;
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
