BDC Representative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a BDC Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately;
- Present initial financing options based on customer needs;
- Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with sales appointments;
- Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly;
- Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources;
- Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet;
- Handle all incoming internet and phone leads;
- Participate in team and process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management;
- Be available to promptly respond to live chat, phone and email inquiries in a professional and well-spoken manner;
- Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show;
- Contacting clients prior to appointment date to confirm appointment;
- Mailing marketing letters to provided leads;
- Following up post visit to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Receiving inbound sales phone calls and leads;
- Placing outbound phone calls to potential leads.
Requirements:
- Coachable and able to follow a specific process;
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive “team-player” attitude;
- Bilingual is a plus;
- Time management, prioritization skills, and the ability to multi-task are required;
- Previous automotive dealership experience a plus;
- Flexible availability;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Comfortable making outbound calls daily;
- Prior internet sales, BDC, or related experience a plus;
- Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment;
- Be self-motivated and goal oriented.
