Inside Sales Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Inside Sales Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to other workshop cities in North America on occasion (up to eight one-week trips per calendar year);
- Handle all client issues with poise and grace;
- Interact with, answer questions, and provide direction for clients in the workshops (approximately 6-10 workshops/quarter);
- Work with internal departments to resolve issues;
- Other tasks & projects, outside your normal job responsibilities, that will be asked of you by management from time to time;
- Observe and enforce company policies and procedures;
- Provide service and communication to distributors and re-sellers;
- Work with other internal AMAG departments to resolve customer issues;
- Assist in managing telephone & email queues to provide product quotes and answer customer questions;
- Follow up on leads from potential and existing customers;
- Assigning qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team member for further development and closure;
- Closing and booking appointments for our sales team;
- Answer inbound calls from clients;
- Understand customer needs and requirements;
- Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects.
Requirements:
- Four year degree with 1-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, CRM database, and ERP software required;
- Strong math skills to calculate discounts, proportions and percentages including gross margin percentage and dollars;
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Superb communication skills;
- Familiar with CRM and MS Office programs;
- At least one year of inside sales experience with cross-selling, upselling or referring products;
- Able to multitask;
- Experience as a Sales Representative/Associate or Call Center Environment;
- Team player;
- Great customer service skills.
