Our company is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to team’s daily sales goals;
  • Educate customers about current promotions and advertisements;
  • Learn the home furnishings industry to establish a strong understanding of the Company’s products and their positioning in the marketplace;
  • Handling customer purchase paperwork and tracking orders;
  • Inventory;
  • Receiving, counting and merchandising of product;
  • Ability to communicate product features and value, close sales, and develop long term customer relationships;
  • Assist with the maintenance and merchandising of the store to maintain neat, orderly, well stocked and appealing displays;
  • Create a cheerful and friendly atmosphere where client relationships can be built and maintained;
  • Help customers schedule appointments;
  • Assist customer by suggesting additional merchandise that compliments their selections;
  • Market and sell frames, contact lenses, and accessories;
  • Exhibiting effective communication between customers, team members, clients and supervisors;
  • Replenish merchandise and monitor floor stock as needed;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers through exhibiting best-in-class customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance;
  • Excellent written and oral English language communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards;
  • Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”);
  • Honesty and integrity are essential. You want our customers to refer their friends to you;
  • Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results;
  • Proficient in verbal and written English language;
  • Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet and assist customers;
  • Strong verbal communication skills;
  • Flexible and proactive;
  • Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions;
