The Warehouse Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance. Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. Being a Warehouse Associate operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner. Maintains complete paperwork. In addition, Warehouse Associate may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. May require a certification to operate equipment. Being a Warehouse Associate possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Our company is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all orders for shipment;
  • Inventory;
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager;
  • Enter required data into a computer in an accurate and timely manner as instructed;
  • Documenting inventory;
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials;
  • Associate will be working as part of a small team but should be able to work independently;
  • Prepare shipments;
  • Keep an organized, clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization;

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight and work with minimal supervision;

Requirements:

  • Able to work in a team environment;

  • Experience with inventory control, shipping, receiving, picking & packing preferred;
  • Must be able to work extended daily hours as business volume requires;
  • Ability to read and understand labels, paperwork, and instructions;
  • Able to work in temperature extremes of heat and cold in the warehouse;
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist 8 to 10 hours per day in a non-climate control warehouse;
  • Lift up to 70lbs repeatedly on a regular basis;
  • Report to work on time;
  • MUST be able to work Overtime and weekends if needed.
