Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Lakeportside Mind Rehab & Wellness Center, located in the vibrant city of Anaheim, California. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional care to individuals striving to recover mobility and functionality after orthopedic challenges. As a cornerstone of our rehabilitation team, you will actively contribute to creating tailored treatment plans that empower patients on their journey to wellness.

Lakeportside Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art facility strategically situated in Anaheim, California. Our center spans a spacious 5,000 square feet and boasts an advanced sports medicine setup, designed to accommodate a variety of rehabilitation needs. We prioritize a patient-centric approach, ensuring that individual care plans align with each patient's unique goals and medical histories. Working with a small yet dynamic team, comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), fosters a collaborative environment that emphasizes shared knowledge and expertise.

This full-time role requires the therapist to work onsite within our rehabilitation center, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Here at Lakeportside, we pride ourselves on not just treating conditions but on uplifting our patients' spirits through holistic care and compassionate support.

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to understand their specific needs and limitations in a healthcare setting.

Create and implement personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.

Efficiently manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused attention on each person's treatment journey.

Utilize a wide array of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Minimize reliance on medications and propose non-invasive alternatives that align with the patient's health objectives, promoting a holistic approach to care.

Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, documenting patient progress, and making necessary adjustments to care plans.

Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Motivate and educate patients about lifestyle changes that promote recovery and enhance overall well-being, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

Thoroughly document all services provided, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

At Lakeportside, we cater primarily to patients with orthopedic conditions who are seeking outpatient rehabilitation services. Our clientele often consists of individuals covered by private insurance, looking for personalized care that focuses on their specific rehabilitation needs. A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or higher is mandatory.

Current certification and license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.

Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens.

Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for documenting patient care and progress.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive care plans and executing treatments that yield successful patient outcomes.
