Advanced Registered Nurse

Role Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) provides leadership support in an Acute Internal Medicine Unit, assisting the Nurse Manager with daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high-quality patient care. The ANM acts as a mentor and resource, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities Supervise staff by hiring, training, evaluating performance, and managing work assignments.

Assist in developing staffing, budget, and operational goals, ensuring adherence.

Oversee patient care by implementing collaborative care plans tailored to patient needs.

Manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions.

Coordinate staff schedules, approve payroll, and communicate departmental updates.

Support a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills Active RN license with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

2+ years of RN experience; preferred 5-10 years.

Leadership experience is advantageous.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
