Valley Regional is currently seeking either a full-time or a part-time Physical Therapist who would like to work in an outpatient home health setting.

Valley Regional covers a wide range of the Valley’s towns and rural areas, and we offer a flexible territory assignment based on your location. Physical Therapists here at Valley Regional work overtime (if they prefer) and can take on a caseload that best fits their needs and preferences. Full-time therapists typically earn $150,000+ annually with paid drive time and documentation time.

Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participation in the development of the total plan of care. Assesses formuscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM—potential for rehab.

Instructing patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.

Determiningpriority needs for physical therapy

Reporting to physician patient’s reaction to treatment or changes in condition.

May train patients in the use of prosthetic devices.

Identifiespatient and family/caregiver needs for other home health services andrefersas necessary.

Participates in discharge planning for patients.

Prepares andsubmitsa clinical progress summary based on the attainment of goals as directed by Organization policy.

Provides physical therapy consultation to home families/caregivers whenindicated.

Provides orparticipatesin in-service education programs for nursing organization personnel as needed.

Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.

When therapy is the only skilled service,instructs,supervisesand evaluates home health aide care every two (2) weeks.
