Description

Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and devise individualized treatment strategies
Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capacity
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and case managers to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, planning for discharge, and exercises for home practice
Document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes according to regulatory and facility standards
Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure continuity of care
Education

~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills

Prior experience is highly preferred
Ability to manage patients with complex medical and movement challenges
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
