Head of Operations & Business Management

About The Role The role drives cross-functional operational strategy, scaling internal systems and processes to support a rapidly expanding business. The focus is on bridging gaps between engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, ensuring that strategic initiatives transition smoothly into daily workflows. The team requires an operator who is comfortable in the weeds of process design, data analysis, and tool administration, while maintaining a high-level view of company objectives. This role will identify structural bottlenecks, design automated workflows, and build the infrastructure necessary for predictable execution.

Key Responsibilities Design, document, and deploy streamlined standard operating procedures (SOPs) across cross-functional product and operations teams.

Own administrative control and optimization of the internal operational tech stack, including Jira, Notion, and HubSpot.

Define, track, and report on key operational performance indicators (KPIs) using SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

Manage project lifecycles for major internal transitions, ensuring milestones, owners, and timelines are clearly communicated and met.

Identify efficiency bottlenecks and implement automation solutions using tools like Zapier or custom API integrations.

Facilitate weekly and monthly operations review meetings, surfacing critical risks and resource constraints to leadership.

What We Are Looking For 4-7 years of operations management, program management, or management consulting experience, preferably within a technology company.

Proven expertise in process mapping, business process automation, and change management methodologies.

Advanced proficiency with project management platforms (Jira, Asana, or Monday.com) and data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau).

Strong communication skills with a track record of driving alignment across engineering, sales, and product departments.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Bonus: PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification, and experience with automated workflow engines.
