Rehab PTA - Full Time

Position Overview PhysioSpace LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our rehabilitation team in Lorton, Virginia. This role is based in a hospital setting, allowing for an engaging and dynamic work environment. You will be part of a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians, dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care. Our hospital is equipped with modern equipment and therapeutic modalities, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to deliver exemplary service. Your typical work week will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring that each session is tailored to the patient's unique needs.

Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to facilitate pain relief and promote recovery.

Consistently monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.

Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans that reflect interdisciplinary insights and expertise.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation to adhere to regulatory standards and clinic policies, ensuring an organized and efficient workflow.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your care will be central to guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them to regain functionality and return to their daily lives effectively.

An active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, reinforcing a strong foundation in physical therapy principles.

Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and a solid understanding of rehabilitation practices.

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required, especially within orthopedic outpatient or rehabilitation settings. This experience will not only enrich your skillset but also enhance the quality of care you provide to our patients.
