We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to become an integral part of our team at Body Dynamics Physical Therapy & Wellness in Sarasota, Florida. Body Dynamics Physical Therapy & Wellness is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center dedicated to helping patients regain their physical abilities through innovative therapy and comprehensive care programs. Our facility specializes in sports medicine and outpatient rehabilitation services, allowing us to cater to a diverse patient demographic. Located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, our rehabilitation center provides an onsite setting where you can engage directly with patients in a supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals who share your commitment to excellence in physical therapy. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while continuing to provide premium care to our patients.
Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing for quality interaction with each individual and fostering strong therapist-patient relationships.
Incorporate various manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities to facilitate rehabilitation and expedite recovery.
Promote non-invasive treatment options, focusing on minimizing the use of medications and advocating for surgical alternatives only when necessary.
Document all treatment sessions accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Web PT to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care effectively.
Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their milestones and improvements.
The patients you will serve primarily consist of individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse client base includes athletes of all ages seeking to regain strength and movement, as well as older adults focusing on improving their mobility and functionality to enhance their quality of life. A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
An active Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board actions in any state.
Strong clinical knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy practices.
Exceptional skills in a variety of manual therapy techniques.
Proficiency in using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to maintain detailed patient records.
A passion for ongoing professional development, staying current with evidence-based practices and methodologies in physical therapy.
Experience in outpatient clinics or sports medicine facilities is highly desirable.
Proven track record in developing and leading successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
