Position Overview Active Life PT is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist at Active Life PT, you will work onsite in an outpatient facility that emphasizes a holistic approach to patient care. Our facility is structured to foster teamwork and communication among healthcare professionals, ensuring that patient needs are effectively met. Your work schedule will be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced approach to your professional and personal life.

Manage a reasonable patient load, ensuring that each patient receives focused and personalized attention during their therapy sessions.

Leverage your experience in orthopedic outpatient care to provide high-quality treatment, with an emphasis on cost-effective, non-surgical alternatives.

Monitor and document patient progress through the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to keep comprehensive records of therapies and outcomes.

Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and supportive environment that empowers patients to achieve their fitness goals.

Monitor and guide patients in fitness and wellness programs tailored to their specific requirements, enhancing their strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population comprising individuals with orthopedic injuries, sports-related ailments, and post-operative rehabilitation needs. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who are motivated to regain their physical capabilities and improve their everyday functionality. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.

Active and unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Proven experience and proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.

Solid understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices, demonstrated by an ability to integrate research-supported techniques into treatment plans.

Competence in utilizing EMR software, with proficiency in WebPT being advantageous for effective documentation.

Experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Background in collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive, all-encompassing patient care.

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
