Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PMPay: $20.00 per hour or more DOEIf you have any questions feel free to email: View email address on click.appcast.io Functions:Must be proficient in all areas of the department and all welding procedures as prescribed in AWS and ASME publications for MIG and STICK welding (SMAW).Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in EnglishClose attention to detailFunction with no supervisionSet work priorities to meet production goals as scheduledEstablish and maintain cooperative working relationshipsStay current in TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as neededAbility to enter OEE information into OEE Control Document spreadsheet in serverMeet minimum safety and 5-S standardsMust read blueprints and perform shop math to layout, fabricate and weld various parts and assembliesMust be able to weld all types of metals, set and maintain welding machine (tip, liner changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal and overheadPerform all Mig and Stick welding procedures (all positions), including machine settings, bottles and necessary fittingsWelding of mild steel and aluminum where requiredGrind and clean area where requiredAbility to use grinder, sander, rivet guns, saws and other air toolsInspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatterHave knowledge of all welding and assembler operations in the work centerMust be able to perform all Welder "A and Welder "B functionsPlay a key role in training welders at all levelsAble to reproduce all operations within acceptable quality and time standardsBe compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbookOther duties and responsibilities as requiredEnsure that hazardous waste that is handled is placed into the proper container(s)Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing wasteFamiliar with Hazardous Waste Contingency PlanKnows spill response procedures and evacuation routesNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
