Bookeeper (Accounting/Finance)

BookkeeperOur client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities and maintaining accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivableRecord financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger recordsPerform bank and credit card reconciliationsPrepare and process invoices, payments, and depositsAssist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliationsMaintain accurate vendor and customer recordsTrack expenses and assist with expense reportingSupport payroll processing and related accounting tasks as neededAssist with month-end close activitiesIdentify discrepancies and resolve accounting issuesProvide general administrative support to the finance functionQualifications:3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceStrong understanding of basic accounting principlesExperience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software requiredProficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills and ability to work independentlyAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredPreferred Experience:Small business or nonprofit bookkeeping experiencePayroll processing experienceExperience handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilitiesFamiliarity with financial reporting and reconciliations
