LabCorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Amarillo, TX area (79106)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday hours will vary based on coverage needs between 7:00am to 6:00pm (overtime and rotating weekends may be required as needed)

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment

Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Will primarily cover sites in Amarillo / Canyon/ Panhandle, TX

On occasion may be requested to cover sites in Clovis/ Albuquerque, NM (up to approximately 250 miles +)

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Exceptional customer service

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Float Incentive Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

* Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
