Physical Therapist - Therapy - Full-Time

Carle Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team based in Lehigh Acres, Florida. In this role, the therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient functionality and overall health. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the field and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. The position is based in an onsite rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources that facilitate high-quality patient care. The physical therapist will work approximately 40 hours per week, with variable weekend hours as needed.

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

Providing expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding patients' continuum of care and appropriate interventions.

Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and their families to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and discharge planning.

Participating in community outreach programs and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery and patient engagement.

Supervising and mentoring assigned support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students while managing departmental resources efficiently.

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

A valid state license in Physical Therapy.

Proficiency with computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record systems.

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation or prior experience in outpatient settings are encouraged to apply. Additionally, familiarity with electronic documentation systems and treatment planning software will be advantageous.
