Rehab PTA - Full Time

Position Overview PhysioSpace LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The PTA role is based onsite at our hospital facility in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Our facility caters to a diverse patient population, which allows for a rich and varied day-to-day experience. You will work alongside physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are seamlessly integrated.

Assist patients with a variety of therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training, utilizing techniques that align with their rehabilitation goals.

Implement modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to help manage pain and improve physical function.

Monitor patient progress, meticulously documenting changes and reporting necessary updates to the supervising PT to adapt treatment as needed.

Educate patients on injury prevention, offering practical advice on home exercise programs that enable continued recovery outside the clinic.

Maintain precise documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.

Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to provide coordinated care, addressing any specific patient needs or concerns.

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and age-related conditions. Our diverse patient population includes children, adults, and elderly individuals, allowing you to refine your skills across various demographic groups. By focusing on patient-centered care, you will help facilitate meaningful recovery experiences tailored to each individual's journey.

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting with a focus on physical therapy.

Proficient in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and effectively communicating patient education.

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is highly regarded.

Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, though new graduates with solid clinical rotation experience are encouraged to apply.
