Lead Financial Strategy for a Growing Manufacturing Company
Are you a CPA with strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience in manufacturing ? Do you enjoy partnering with executive leadership to influence business strategy, profitability, and operational performance?
We're seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) to join a rapidly growing, private equity-backed manufacturing company in Champaign, Illinois. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a key leadership role driving financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Lead the company's annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning process
Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and capital investments
Analyze manufacturing costs, product margins, inventory, labor, and operational performance
Identify opportunities to improve profitability through cost analysis and financial insights
Partner with operations, sales, engineering, and leadership to support business decisions
Oversee project estimating, pricing analysis, and costing to improve project profitability
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and business analytics
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
Strong expertise in manufacturing costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and margin analysis
Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Experience working in a private equity (PE)-backed company is a plus

High-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CFO
Broad exposure across finance, operations, pricing, and manufacturing
Stable, growing manufacturing organization backed by private equity
