Full-time Weekend Mental Health Counselor

Stream Mindful Medication, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time telehealth role. This remote full-time position operates in a fast-paced, telehealth setting, where you will conduct sessions over digital platforms. Our innovative approach reflects the dynamic spirit of a startup, focusing on practical progress and real-world learning. The absence of evening and weekend shifts helps maintain a balance that emphasizes both professional fulfillment and personal well-being.

Group Therapy Facilitation: You will lead engaging group therapy sessions that encourage clients to share experiences, support one another, and learn effective coping strategies.

Individual Therapy: You will provide personalized, empathetic therapy sessions aimed at exploring clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Your goal will be to help them develop actionable coping strategies and create tailored action plans that resonate with their individual needs.

Therapy Planning: Collaborating closely with clients, you will design customized therapy programs that align with their specific goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

Progress Monitoring: You will primarily work within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), providing services to young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and resilience-building issues. Your role will be integral in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their mental health journey.

A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy.

Active and valid LPC license to provide therapeutic services.

Proven experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, particularly those with mental health concerns.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a commitment to fostering positive change within the community.

Proficiency in diverse therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

We value hands-on experience in telehealth settings and familiarity with online therapy applications. Experience in program development and community outreach initiatives is also beneficial, as we seek to enhance our engagement with clients.
