Bookeeper (Accounting/Finance)

You will be an integral member of a highly diverse public accounting practice focused on financial accounting and operations, tax, trust and estate accounting, bankruptcy, and litigation support. Key Requirements

Exacting command of debits, credits, and double-entry accounting system

Ability to accurately code, input, and reconcile AP, AR and bank statement transactions

Highly proficient in QuickBooks (or comparable program) and Microsoft Office

BA or BS degree in accounting or finance-related major preferred

2 to 3 years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience with increasing responsibilities

CPA or CPA track

Income tax preparation knowledge and experience a plus

Can reliably commute to our Los Angeles office

Job Duties

Monthly and quarterly accounting, including financial statement preparation (balance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement)

Financial analysis

Trust and probate accounting

Bank statement and general ledger reconciliations

Payroll accounting and payroll tax returns

Sales, business, property tax filings

Income tax return preparation

$85,000 - $95,000 a year
