Open Rank Professor of Academic Introduction and Strategies (First Year Transition Course)
University College invites applications for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Practice/Instruction in the Academic Introduction and Strategies program.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will teach courses that support first‑year students majoring in AI, cyber, technology, data science, mathematics, or engineering, focusing on the skills necessary for success in these majors.
Salary
Starting at $45,050 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.
Qualifications
Degree in technology, cyber, mathematics, data science, engineering, education, or a related field; M.A. required, Ph.D. preferred.
Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.

This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility.
