Key Responsibilities\n

• Thoroughly evaluate clients' symptoms, including assessing the frequency, intensity, and duration of their mood disorder manifestations, to guide effective treatment planning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to therapy.

• Implement a range of evidence-based intervention strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and feedback.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care, promoting a holistic approach to mental health treatment.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to continuously enhance therapeutic methods and improve client outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure a seamless flow of information in treatment.

In this role, you will primarily work with clients suffering from various mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your work will significantly impact diverse populations, including the homeless community, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license is required: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
