Work Environment This position is designed as a full-time remote role, allowing flexibility while ensuring direct engagement with clients via telehealth platforms. Working from home, you will maintain a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. You will leverage digital tools and software to manage client interactions efficiently and competently. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify needs, emotions, and behaviors of clients seeking help in a detox center environment. Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based practices. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering support and guidance that empowers clients on their recovery journeys. Collaborate closely with medical professionals, addiction specialists, and family members to create an integrated treatment approach that supports client well-being. Advocate for clients, helping them navigate and access necessary community resources, including housing, employment, and continued care options. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development through training, team meetings, and supervision aimed at improving clinical skills and service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus The focus of this role is primarily on adults experiencing issues related to addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele including those in early recovery as well as clients who have been in the system for longer periods. Your intervention will be vital in addressing trauma, building coping strategies, and promoting resilience. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is essential. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a solid theoretical foundation in mental health practices. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills. Ability to work independently with a self-driven approach while also collaborating effectively within a remote team setting. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or addiction recovery setting, particularly with older adults or dual-diagnosis patients. Experience working with detox and rehabilitation clients, successfully addressing complex needs and symptoms. Familiarity with telehealth delivery of services and related technology platforms. Compensation and Benefits Our organization offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
