Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices that lead to the development of customized treatment plans addressing each client's specific needs.

• Implement various therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring clients receive the most appropriate care based on their circumstances.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records to uphold compliance with HIPAA regulations and enhance the integrity of our practice.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions that are critical for refining treatment approaches and ensuring continued professional development.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families concerning mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, fostering an environment of empowerment and resilience.

• Stay informed about the latest mental health research and methodologies, incorporating new findings into your practice to provide optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patients at Optimus will vary widely in demographics and mental health needs. You will work with individuals experiencing a range of conditions—from major depressive disorders to anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress. This diverse client base affords you the chance to tailor your therapeutic approach and truly make a difference in the lives of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State.

• Proven expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and the ability to adapt approaches as necessary to meet individual client needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and sustaining therapeutic relationships.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively handle diverse client challenges and develop actionable solutions.

• A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork and peer input as a way to enhance the therapeutic journey for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a similar outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable, showcasing your adaptability and competence in providing therapy remotely.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred to optimize your efficiency in client documentation and treatment.

• Clinical experience working with a diverse population including varied age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Optimus Behavioral and Psychological Center offers a highly competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
