Work Environment

This position is located in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility in Reno, where our culture emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and patient-centered care. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient and clinic needs. Our clinic is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and tools, creating a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Rehab Solutions, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in alignment with best practices for improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Working closely with patients to guide them through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that are essential for enhancing physical well-being and facilitating pain relief.
• Educating patients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and at-home exercise programs to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Administering treatments, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy, while closely monitoring patient responses and adapting plans as necessary.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including tracking metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and functional outcomes.
• Preparing treatment areas, ensuring safety and organization of equipment, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace to support therapy sessions.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to create a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Providing emotional support to patients, promoting positivity and encouragement during their rehabilitation journey.
• Upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality throughout all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes needing sports rehabilitation, and geriatric clients requiring mobility assistance. You will utilize your expertise to tailor each intervention according to the unique needs of your patients, ensuring optimal care and attention throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• At least one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, showcasing your proficiency in delivering effective therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic practice settings.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas such as orthopedic or sports rehabilitation, or those who have experience working in outpatient settings. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
