Family First Physical Therapy, a leading orthopedic outpatient practice, is seeking a committed and skilled physical therapist to join our team in Reno, Nevada. The successful candidate will serve as a vital partner in guiding our patients towards recovery and enhanced functional abilities. We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance, providing tailored rehabilitation solutions that foster patient independence and comfort.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our fully-equipped rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate with a team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). We operate Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work routine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to understand individual goals and requirements, establishing personalized treatment plans that guide recovery.
• Manage a patient caseload, treating one individual per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at reducing pain and restoring function.
• Develop comprehensive care plans, incorporating various techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient mobility.
• Work proactively to reduce reliance on medications through alternative therapies and educate patients on the benefits of these methods.
• Monitor and document patient progress rigorously, ensuring clear communication among our healthcare team for coherent patient care.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to support recovery and promote long-term health.
• Motivate patients, encouraging adherence to therapy regimens and promoting a healthy lifestyle through enhanced strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, providing a comprehensive approach to injury management and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse clientele, including athletes, post-surgical patients, and individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada is essential.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and executing exercise protocols are crucial.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly in WebPT, is required to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desired.
• Proven track record of developing successful rehabilitation strategies that enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
