Body Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated, full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Sun Valley, Nevada. This position is integral to our mission of restoring motion and improving functionality for our patients. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine, equipped with the latest technology to assist in rehabilitation. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to the highest standards of patient care.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing structured treatment plans and one-on-one care. The physical therapy practice emphasizes orthopedic rehabilitation, primarily serving patients with private medical insurance, allowing for personalized and effective treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals, functional capabilities, and physical limitations.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and individualized therapy sessions.
• Develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that include a variety of techniques and interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and minimize reliance on pharmacological solutions.
• Conduct regular evaluations and monitor treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, therapy interventions, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, maintaining a focus on their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly caters to orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. Body Balance Physical Therapy aims to empower patients to regain their independence and mobility through personalized rehabilitation strategies. We believe in a proactive approach, working diligently to prevent future injuries and improve overall physical performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with at least 1 year of relevant practice.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Competency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or board sanctions.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient physical therapy environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrated healthcare practice models and a commitment to continuing education in the field of physical therapy will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
