Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Reno, NV, which features state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. You will work alongside a cohesive team of rehabilitation specialists, physical therapists, and support staff, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and open communication. Our structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, provides a work-life balance that allows you to focus on your professional development and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' mobility and physical abilities to establish individualized treatment plans focused on their unique recovery goals.
• Implement and adapt evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to maximize patient outcomes.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment programs to ensure continued improvement and goal achievement.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, home care strategies, and injury prevention methods to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and refine treatment methods as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions affecting movement. Our client base includes individuals of all ages, from young athletes to seniors, allowing you to apply your specialized knowledge and skills across a broad spectrum of cases. Your expertise in personalized rehabilitation will be instrumental in facilitating timely and effective recoveries.

Qualifications

• Current license or eligibility to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on building rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in utilizing clinical software and documentation systems pertinent to physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using specialized modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or aquatic therapy is a plus.
• Prior experience in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment is beneficial.
• Certification in specialized areas of therapy (such as Dry Needling or Manual Therapy techniques) would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
