Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each patient's physical condition, including musculoskeletal assessments and functional movement screens.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to the specific orthopedic conditions of the patients.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and guided therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery and rebuild strength.
• Provide education to patients on exercises, wellness strategies, and ergonomics to encourage long-term health and prevent re-injury.
• Document progress notes and treatment outcomes meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to track patient progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure cohesive care.
• Engage in continual professional development, staying updated on the latest research and techniques in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and postural dysfunctions. Our diverse client base comprises athletes, working professionals, and individuals seeking to enhance their physical capabilities post-rehabilitation. Your expertise will provide essential support to patients of all ages, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid Nevada Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A strong commitment to patient care, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred but recent graduates with a passion for physical therapy are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
