Work Environment

Your base of operations will be our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center situated in Sparks, NV. The center boasts a well-equipped facility that includes modern treatment rooms, therapeutic exercise spaces, and cutting-edge equipment necessary for effective rehabilitation practices. You will work onsite, collaborating closely with fellow therapists, administrative staff, and support personnel to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess each patient's mobility, strength, and physical function, ensuring a holistic understanding of their unique conditions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation protocols tailored to enhance patient recovery.
• Administer a variety of intervention strategies, including education on ergonomic practices and techniques to encourage safe exercise regimens at home.
• Utilize the Raintree electronic health record system to meticulously document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary in accordance with clinic standards.
• Enhance patient and family engagement by demonstrating and explaining exercises, as well as providing guidance on injury prevention and post-treatment care.
• Regularly communicate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive updates on patient status, fostering a team-oriented approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to provide care to a diverse patient population, predominantly consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be an integral part of their recovery journey, working closely with them to set and achieve goals that enhance their quality of life and physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current license to practice or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nevada.
• A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and fostering positive relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in orthopedics, is highly regarded. However, motivated new graduates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Raintree or similar electronic documentation systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
