Licensed Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess individual needs and establish baseline metrics for treatment.
• Develop detailed and customized treatment plans that address the specific rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Implement a variety of hands-on therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions, such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, and wellness practices that promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to care protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members during weekly meetings to discuss patient progress and optimize care strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advances in physical therapy through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing orthopedic surgeries, and patients with chronic pain or mobility issues. You will have the opportunity to address a wide range of conditions, thus continually enhancing your clinical expertise and broadening your therapeutic skills.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, although candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be favored.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada or the ability to attain one prior to employment.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedics.
• Ability to demonstrate a patient-first paradigm, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic environment is preferred, although new graduates with relevant clinical internships are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is beneficial, particularly in creating, updating, and retrieving patient records.
• Kinesiology and motion analysis knowledge can provide an advantage in facilitating optimal rehabilitation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

Fit To Stretch Rehab Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
