Work Environment

You will work onsite at our outpatient office located in the heart of Sparks, Nevada. The clinic is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff alike, promoting comfort and focus during therapy sessions. Our team utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices, ensuring that we are at the forefront of physical therapy advancements. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments, utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Deliver therapy through various modalities including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational sessions tailored to patient understanding.
• Accurately maintain patient records using the Raintree system, ensuring compliance with both clinic policies and legal regulations.
• Provide ongoing education to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans and effective injury prevention strategies.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to optimize recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We see a diverse clientele ranging from athletes seeking to return to their competitive sports to elderly patients working on regaining strength and independence after surgery. It is essential to tailor your communication and approach based on each patient's unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, or a Master's degree is preferred.
• Current, active, or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with Raintree or similar electronic health record systems is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
