Work Environment

The clinic functions as an outpatient facility, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. As a member of our team, you'll work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals in a collaborative environment. The clinic is designed to promote the efficient flow of patients, featuring state-of-the-art therapy equipment and treatment rooms. Our typical schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, utilizing various assessment tools to identify each patient's unique needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific injuries or conditions, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and utilize targeted interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Utilize computer software systems to document treatment progress, manage patient records, and monitor outcomes effectively.
• Educate and empower patients regarding injury prevention methods, home exercise programs, and active lifestyle recommendations that promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Fit To Stretch Rehab Center, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries, and community members seeking improved physical function. Our focus is not only on rehabilitation after acute injuries but also on preventative care and performance enhancement, providing the opportunity to work with clientele who are proactive about their physical health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current physical therapy license in Nevada or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• A commitment to a patient-first approach, demonstrating empathy and strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, although new graduates with relevant field internships are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
