Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, forming the foundation for individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement tailored therapy programs that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and adjunctive modalities to address diverse orthopedic conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making real-time adjustments to treatment strategies based on each patient's performance and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. You will encounter a diverse age range, from young athletes to older adults seeking relief from degenerative conditions. Your responsive interventions and personalized care plans will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, demonstrating a solid foundation in rehabilitation principles.
• A valid and active physical therapy license in the state of Nevada, or eligibility to obtain one prior to starting work.
• Proficiency in orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques, with a passionate understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting focused on orthopedic and/or sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with methods such as dry needling and advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or a commitment to pursue the certification.
