Work Environment

This position entails working directly within patients' homes, providing a comfortable and familiar setting for rehabilitation. The nature of home care allows for a personalized approach to therapy. You will enjoy a work week from Monday to Friday, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and physical function, tailored specifically to orthopedic conditions.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans that account for each patient's lifestyle, goals, and specific orthopedic challenges.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and innovative rehabilitation modalities to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Regularly document patient progress using Raintree software, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and maintaining thorough records for care continuity.
• Educate patients and their families on home care techniques, injury prevention strategies, and the importance of adherence to therapy plans.
• Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment plans in response to patient progress, ensuring optimal rehabilitation results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Each patient will receive tailored therapy protocols designed to address their unique rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of returning to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Nevada as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively within a team while managing independent treatment sessions.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in home care services is an advantage, though new graduates who are eager to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.
