Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and create customized treatment plans that cater to their individual goals and medical histories.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to aid in pain relief and enhance mobility.
• Regularly evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, self-management techniques, and exercise regimens to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Document patient interactions and progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Flex and Flow, you will work with a diverse patient population, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults addressing mobility issues related to arthritis. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting individualized rehabilitation strategies for conditions such as fractures, post-surgical recovery, tendonitis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and goals, allowing you to utilize your creativity and clinical knowledge in a meaningful way.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop thorough treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancing techniques and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, though new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and technologies to facilitate effective patient care.
• Previous work in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

At Flex and Flow Physical Therapy Center, we value our team members and are committed to providing competitive compensation. The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
