Key Responsibilities\n

As our Licensed Master Social Worker, you'll play an instrumental role in delivering individualized psychotherapy services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the needs of students and their families, and developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address varied mental health concerns.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records digitally to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal standards, thereby safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational staff.

• Actively engaging in professional development through regular case consultations and peer review meetings to refine clinical practices.

• Providing psychoeducation to guardians and family members, guiding them on mental health issues and available community resources.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health to continuously improve clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. As an LMSW, you will engage with diverse backgrounds and age groups, employing sensitivity and cultural competence to ensure that all students receive the personalized care they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State.

• At least three years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services and interventions.
\n
• Proven knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and experience implementing them in a clinical setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

• A commitment to ethical standards and best practices as defined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within educational environments or with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
