Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver targeted interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor clients' treatment progress regularly, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate continually with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to create a unified treatment approach, ensuring comprehensive care for each patient.

• Stay informed about the latest research and clinical practices concerning mood disorders to enhance service delivery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with mood disorders including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will address their unique backgrounds and experiences, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is required.
