Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments to understand each client's unique mental health challenges. Utilize evidence-based techniques to formulate tailored treatment plans that empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions that address symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your goal will be to help clients cultivate resilience and develop coping strategies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Accuracy in record-keeping is essential to track client progress and to provide context for ongoing care.

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to client wellness. Regularly participate in team meetings and peer supervision sessions to share insights and improve service delivery.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research and best practices in the mental health field. By continually refining your skills, you will provide clients with the most effective treatment options.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in New York State.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly in solution-focused psychotherapy.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients.

Preferred Experience\n
