Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting, and team leadership. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining internal controls, and supporting executive management with timely financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Prepare sales tax filings and assist with income tax support as needed. Monitor cash flow and support treasury management activities. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. CPA or CPA eligible preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a corporate environment. Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
