Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client improvement.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower their journey toward recovery.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately while adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to collaborate on challenging cases and share best practices with colleagues from various specialties.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field through continuing education opportunities, ensuring that your therapeutic approaches remain current and effective.

• Serve as an advocate for mental health awareness, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders within the community and promote overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your ability to connect with and understand the unique challenges faced by each client will be critical in facilitating their healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in implementing evidence-based treatment methods specifically for mood disorders, such as CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to work effectively in collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• Demonstrated history of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The licensed Mental Health Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
