Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring clients receive uninterrupted and effective treatment.

• Accelerating the therapeutic process for clients by building therapeutic relationships and understanding their unique histories and needs.

• Facilitating weekly group therapy sessions with a maximum of eight clients, promoting an environment conducive to open discussion and support.

• Participating in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights, explore new methodologies, and continuously evolve your practice.

• Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress, treatment plans, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Adhering to established clinical protocols to ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with adolescents and young adults grappling with mental health issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. You will have the chance to forge meaningful connections with clients, fostering their journey toward sustainable healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Valid mental health licensure (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) in the state of California, or your EPP license if you’re a junior clinician.

• Flexibility in scheduling, with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week for contract positions or availability for full-time (40 hours) as a W2 employee.

• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays as needed for group and individual sessions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working with adolescent populations and familiarity with telehealth modalities is highly desirable. Previous work in community health environments is beneficial, although not mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable discussing sensitive topics with compassion and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
