Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients seeking therapy.

• Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that align with each client's personal goals and preferences, using evidence-based practices.

• Utilize effective therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to enhance overall mental health.

• Monitor and document client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Foster collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research on mood disorders, continuously seeking ways to improve your therapeutic approach and treatment methods.

• Maintain clear, private, and compliant record-keeping practices that adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will engage with diverse populations, including vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .
