Work Environment

Your day-to-day activities as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will take place in our modern outpatient office setting, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and resources necessary for delivering high-quality care. You will collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere, where open communication and teamwork are paramount for success. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, utilizing assessment tools to identify functional limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, incorporating a range of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to interventions to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies, injury prevention, and rehabilitation to foster long-term health and wellness.
• Contribute actively to our clinic's learning-focused culture by participating in team meetings, case discussions, and mentoring opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic attracts a diverse patient base ranging from active adolescents to seniors seeking to regain mobility and reduce discomfort. Your role will be vital in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and restore their confidence in physical activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with manual therapy techniques and/or dry needling.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification or willingness to pursue further specialization.
• Background in developing and facilitating fitness programs aimed at enhancing physical performance.
